Do I need to upgrade if I sold some CD,s?

No, if your income from your Certificates of Deposit (CDs) are reported on 1099-INT, that is included in all versions of TurboTax.

I would indicate an exception to that....if they were brokerage CDs, bought thru a brokerage account, then they may be part of the 1099-B/8949 transactions that the brokerage issues.  Then they would need to be reported if they show up on your Brokerage's 1099-B/8949...and the Online software's "Premium" version would need to be used.
