Do I need to enter deductions information like Property tax, Mortgage Interest etc. even though I am taking Standard deduction?

This year turbotax asked for taking standard deduction or itemized before deductions were entered into the system. It estimated based on my selections. I am going to take Standard deduction. My question is, do I still need to enter information about deductions like property tax, mortgage interest, charitable donations etc even though I am selecting Standard Deduction

No, you don't need to enter your deductions if you opt for the standard deduction. It is remotely possible that they will benefit you on your state return but that is not normally the case.
