Do I have to report the information on my 1098 form if I went with the standard deduction? Turbotax did not give the prompt to ask if i purchased a new home?

No, you do not have to enter the deductions when you know you won't take them.

If you are using standard deduction, you are not required to enter anything about your mortgage.  If want to enter it anyway:

Go to Federal> Deductions and Credits> Your Home to enter mortgage interest, property taxes, and loan origination fees (“points”) that you paid in 2023.  You should have a 1098 from your mortgage lender that shows this information.  Lenders send these in January/early February.
