Do I have to report a sale of property where I made $33,000 gain and which was my primary residence for almost 7 years?

Please note that I did not receive a 1099-S for FY 2018

To enter your home sale information

  • click on Federal Taxes/Wages & Income
  • Select to show more income
  • Scroll down to Less Common Income
  • Select "Show More"
  • Select Start next to "Sale of Home"
  • Follow the prompts and enter your home sale information
  • Turbo Tax will Calculate if there is any taxable gain on the sale of your home
