Do all co-executors to fill out Form 1310 and submit with taxes?

Mother and stepfather passed away in 2021. My brother and I are co-executors of our mother's estate; another person is executor of the other estate. Do we need to send 3 separate forms 1310 - one for me, one for my brother, and another for the other executor?

Just one for the person claiming the refund (i.e., the person who will signing/submitting the return/form).

Each situation is unique. I recommend you run through the IRS How Do I File a Deceased Person program. It is very detailed and will tell you exactly what is best for your situation.

I am very sorry for your loss.
