Currently H1b from Dec 17, 2015. used to be a J1 holder in 2007 and 2008. if I am entitled to tax treaty between China and USA.

Glacier told me I can be entitled to the tax treaty between US and China. I just want to make it sure if I can.

Which article of the treaty are you referring to? Generally, you are not entitled to treaty exemptions on H1 that are for students, teachers, professors etc. on J1 or F1.

Also, if you are on H1B since 2015, you are a resident alien for 2016 assuming you were in the US the entire year, so Glacier does not apply to you.

Thank you for your rapid response. The article of the tax treaty between China and USA  is 19. I need to make a supplement that I began to work on Dec. 17, 2015 but received my first salary at the end of Jan 2016. Besides, I used to be J1 in 2007 and 2008. I am not clear if I am entitled to the treaty above. Thank you so much!

Our university use Glacier for us and when I put in all my information it appears That I can be entitled to the treaty

Since you are on H1b, you are not entitled to the treaty. Also, Glacier is usually for nonresident aliens, which you are not.
