Clicking on Foreign tax credit I don't get interview questions, I get "You're on track to get a boost from the Foreign Tax Credit". It's wrong so how do I reset?

The program picks up information you entered in various areas for you. You may need to delete the form. You may need to check entries already made in other forms. Check your brokerage, K-1, etc.

 

Follow these steps to delete the 1116:

1. Open or continue your return in TurboTax.
2. Locate Tax Tools 
3. Select Tools
4. See the pop-up window Tool Center
5. Choose Delete a form
6. Select Delete next to the form 1116 in the list
7. Follow the instructions

It will re-populate with the information already entered. You may need to delete or alter other information as well.
