Claiming children

I have 2 children with my domestic partner. We both live together with the children. I make around 125,000 a year and she is around 50,000 a year. I claim head of household since I pay over 50 % of all the bills. I have claimed the children on my tax returns in the past, should I continue to claim them on this years tax filings or should she ? Wanting to know which return would be greater when it comes to the child tax credits ? We also pay around 15,000 a year in child care.

The only way to answer that question is to complete your separate returns both ways ...   if you are not legally married and the children are considered your child according to tax law definitions then you can put the kids on the return making the most sense.  Of course with your high income the kids are worth more to you along with the HOH filing status.
