Can I include renter's insurance for my home office if I did not use it exclusively for work? I did use my room space (office) for about 3 1/2 hours / day 6 days a week?

No, you cannot include your renter's insurance or any other home office deductions because you do not satisfy the exclusive use requirement.  The link below has information on the home office credit that you may find useful.
