Can I fund a ROTH IRA with Foreign income? If so, how do enter it without getting the foreign exemption/credit? I want to pay for my contribution and that's it

I'm trying to input just the amount my husband and I contribute to a ROTH with foreign income.  The rest of the income I want to be exempt.  I can't find a way to do this with this software.  HR Block were absolutely no help.  Told me to talk to a software designer

You may wish to consider using the foreign tax credit instead of the foreign earned income exclusion.  However, please note that if you do not use the foreign earned income exclusion one year (a year you are eligible to use it), you cannot use it again for 5 years.
