If you had no adoption expenses and no carryover of adoption expenses from prior years, you can delete the form.
You can delete the form through theTax Tools menu:
1. Click on Tax Tools near the bottom of the left side menu.
2. Select Tools.
3. Click on Delete a form.
4. Find Form 8839 on the list, click Delete to the right.
5. Confirm that you want to delete the form.
6. Click Continue and then Review.
Note: This won't work if you have a credit carryover from 2018, but it will remove anything that you have entered for 2019.
