Can I deduct the costs associated with obtaining my Certified Flight Instructor rating I needed for my employment?

I received a certificate upon completion of the program - this was required for my employment

No, job-related expenses are not deductible in tax years 2018-2025.    Can I deduct work-related education expenses?
