We purchased our first home in 2016. The move from an apartment to our first house was only a few miles and not job related--we simply purchased a new home. As a result of the purchase, we were finally able to move the contents of two storage units from out of state to our house. Are transportation costs associated with moving the contents of these storage units deductible?
