Can i deduct the amount i had to pay to medicaid for a lien against our property for a deceased relative

in order to sell our property the state of ohio had a Medicaid claim against our property for my deceased sister, we own the property but she had the right to live on the property as long as she lived. can we deduct this from our taxes?

Generally paying off a debt or lien is not deductible for tax purposes.
