Can I deduct my cell phone and internet costs (or part of them) for my home business?

I own a small business and have my office at home. I also see some patients at home. Can I deduct any of my internet and cell phone costs?

Yes, you can deduct your internet and cell phone costs as business expenses.  The amount that you can deduct is prorated based on the percentage that you use for business purposes.  For example, if you use your cell phone for 30% for business and 70% personal then you are allowed to deduct 30% of your cell phone bill as a business expense.
