Can I deduct moving truck and storage expenses as a member of the national guard if I incurred expenses for each as I went on active orders & deployed overseas?

I utlized a moving truck on two occasions, incurring fees and paid storage fees for several months for my items while deployed through the end of 2023/

Since you were activated then your moving expenses as an active duty member of the military are deductible on your tax return.

See the Form 3903 instructions for what is deductible as a moving expense under the heading Which Moving Expenses Are Deductible and Which Aren't - https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/i3903.pdf

Note - Moving services and allowances provided by the government.
Don't deduct any expenses for moving services that were provided by the government. Also, don't deduct any expenses that were reimbursed by an allowance you didn't include in income.
