Can I claim the Michigan Homestead Property Tax Credit if my W-2 shows a different address than my primary address that I pay rent on and I am on the lease?

My W-2 shows I live in Dewitt, my actual primary address is in East Lansing, I signed a lease in August 2024 in EL, but never switched my address from Dewitt with my employer. Can I still claim the MI Homestead Property Tax Credit for 2024? (assuming I qualify all the other ways)

Yes, assuming you otherwise qualify, you can still claim the credit.  The credit is based on your actual address, not the address on your W-2.
