Bug: Foreign Tax paid entered as an itemized deduction shows up under Generation-skipping taxes in Other Deductible Expenses? Need to resolve to ensure forms are correct

I entered Foreign Taxes as itemized deduction & found it records this against generation-skipping under Other Deductibel Expenses. Keen to understand/resolve so I can ensure forms are correct & submit return. Thanks

That's the way the foreign tax deduction shows up in the TurboTax interview, but it will go to the correct place on the forms. It will be shown on Schedule A line 6 with the description that you entered. You will see it there when you print your tax return or review it before you file. Generation skipping tax goes on the same line. That's why TurboTax handles it this way. It's not really a bug. It's just a confusing design.
