Any Benefit to Supporting a Child

My son is 29 and already submitted his 2021 tax return as independent. He made only $4700 for the year. He lived at home with us and we supported him with all his food, his lodging, and his transportation as well as almost all other expenses he had. Are there any tax benefits to be had in somehow mentioning this on our 2021 return? Or is the fact that he made over $4700 and is over 29 mean that we can't claim him as a dependent? Are there any benefits other than claiming him as a dependent? Would he need to change his 2021 tax return?

No you can't claim him since he made over $4,300.  Period.    4,300 is the current cut off amount.
