Am I or my housing assistance program responsible for most of my home upkeep expenses?

I paid a portion and my housing paid the other portion of my apartment rent. Who is considered to have paid more in home upkeep?

Just add up the costs of your household expenses, divide that amount by two and if you paid more than that amount, you would be considered to have paid more than half of the upkeep of where you live.

You need to have paid more than half of the household bills to be considered a head of household. Household bills include rent, utilities, renters insurance, groceries, repairs and other similar expenses of maintaining your household.
