1099 G for CRP annual payment. Farm is in both my wife and my name but recipient is only listed as me.

Can I select the payment is for both of us even though I am the only recipient listed and the payment is actually for both of us? Wondering about this similarly with interest from bank accounts. We are both listed on the accounts but when we get the 1099-int it is in only one of our names.

Sometimes a payor can only print one name on the 1099 document, even if the account is in multiple names.

When you enter your 1099's in TurboTax, if you are married filing jointly, it is assumed the income belongs to both of you.

In some instances, TurboTax will ask specifically who certain types of income belongs to (like your 1099-G), and you can indicate 'both of you' even if only one name is on the form.
