1098 statement for my mortgage is asking for the borrowed amount for 2019 where will I find that on the form

If you acquired the loan in 2019, Box 2 of your 2019 Form 1098 will show the mortgage principal as of the date of acquisition. 

Otherwise, you should be able to find the amount in your closing documents.
