Why is Turbo Tax for Indiana not picking up Itemized deductions from Federal return?

Indiana does not allow you to deduct most federal itemized deductions.

The only exceptions to this are:

• Real estate taxes paid for property located in Indiana
• There is a credit available for contributions made to Indiana colleges
