Where do I find the taxable value of homestead? and why is it asking me for this?

Your property tax bill probably has the homestead value. Each area is different and not all property bills include it. 

 

Only a few states offer the homestead exemption. If you qualify, you should take advantage of the savings/ refund.

I'm from Michigan. It is not listed on my property tax form

Contact your local city/township/village assessor's office. They can tell you the homestead value on which property taxes are calculated. Many counties now have property tax information online. You can check to see if your county posts property tax information.
