Where do I enter estimated taxes from 2020?

TurboTax suggested that I pay estimated taxes in 2020. Therefore I did. Now that I am filing my 2021 taxes, I am getting a decent refund, but I don't think I entered those estimated taxes that I already paid anywhere. I can't help but to think my refund should be larger with those estimated taxes in play.

Can you help me either find if they are entered already, or where to enter them?

I'm from Montana by the way, and these are Montana estimated taxes I'm talking about.

First of all we are filing 2020 returns (not 2021).

You can type estimates paid in the search box at the top of your return and click Find and it will give you a link to Jump To it.

OR

To enter Federal or State Estimated Taxes Paid, including a state estimated payment made in January for the prior year, go to

Federal on left or at top.  Personal (Home & Business)

Deductions and Credits at top

Then scroll way down to Estimates and Other Taxes Paid

Estimated Taxes - click the start button

For 2020 Federal Estimated payments should be on 1040 line 26.

You enter state estimated payments under the federal side (because they can be a federal itemized Deduction).  THEN after you finish filling out the estimates under Federal you need to click on the State Tab at the top and start the state return over for it to update.

You have to pick the right state from the drop down box and enter the right payment dates.

Ah yes. Thanks for correcting me on the 2020, 2021 mistake. Glad to know that you knew what I meant though!

Thanks so much for this reply. Will attempt your solution tomorrow, but it sure sounds like it'll work, so I thought I'd get a response back to you in the meantime. I'll post again if I run into other issues.
