Where can I see my net salary

Is my net salary the same as my AGI?

No, net salary is not the same as Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)

Net salary is what you "take home" from your paycheck.

Box 1 on your W-2 lists your GROSS income, (what you earned) but you would need to add up your paychecks (what you took home or got as a direct deposit)  to get your net salary before tax adjustments.

Is this asked somewhere?

There is no such thing as "net salary" in tax filing terminology.

What is your concern?  If it's about the earned income credit (EIC), you earned income is usually line 1z of form 1040 (for most people that's also the amount on line 1a).

The earned income credit is first calculated (actually looked up in a table) on your earned income then it is calculated on your total income (AGI). You get the lesser of the two calculated EIC numbers. See the 2023 EIC table at:

If you also have self employment income, your total earned income will not be on form 1040, but will be on the EIC worksheet.
