What forms, including Federal forms, need to be filed along with VA non-resident State tax forms

Turbo Tax had me do a modified Federal return as Married filing Separately in order to pull information into the Virginia State Tax program.

Turbo Tax did not have anywhere to print the VA state forms, as it had stated it would, so I printed the Virginia return through the opening of a TT file.

However, VA states that I have to add my federal return (attach a copy to my VA state tax return) and TT states that I should not file my mock MFS return, yet that is the Federal Tax return that printed out with the VA state tax return.

Do I file the made-up Federal Tax return with the VA state return since this Federal return is what produced the data for the VA return?

OR...

Do I go into TT and print out the Federal Tax joint return that wasn't used for the preparation of the Va state Tax return?

Yes, you will need to mail a copy of the mock-separate federal return with the Virginia Status 3 tax return.
