What does it means if your STATE says "Pending"?

I filed my Federal and State together on 1/19/18 and my Federal was accepted the same day and my State says "pending". I'm in Ohio.

It will show that until your state has accepted and processed it. And there are still some state forms for Ohio that are not yet available. Please see details below. Keep in mind, the IRS will not start accepting federal e-filed returns until January 29, 2018. So if you have already filed, it will remain on TurboTax's server until the IRS pulls it starting on that date.

You should be able to click on Review to the left, and it will show you a list of forms in your return that aren’t available yet. It should also show date they should become available.

Why is my state e-file still pending?
