Mississippi randomly selects returns for review. It does not mean anything is wrong with your return though. If Mississippi determines additional information is needed you will be contacted via mail with a request for the information. Generally this includes copies of W-2's or similar forms. Please respond to the request as soon as possible. Also keep in mind that just because your return was pulled for review does not mean you will get a notice. Many times the randomly selected returns are reviewed and then processed without any further action on your part.
