What does it mean when is asks me to enter the FICA Tax portion that I actually paid in AL? "Enter the portion of these deductions that you actually paid."

FICA consist of two pieces, social security tax and medicare tax.  It is asking you to allocate the portion of both social security tax and medicare tax you paid while in AL.  FICA is the total of boxes 4 and 6 on your W-2s; the portion you paid is equal to 7.65% of your wages.

The current tax rate for Social Security is 6.2% of wages for the employee.

The current tax rate for Medicare is 1.45% of wages for the employee.
