We filed for 2020 taxes early and over paid on UE taxes as of today we have not received a refund for over payment we qualify for the UE tax credit up to $10,000

Do we have to file any forms or refunds will be sent automatically

No, you do not need to send any form or amend the filed tax return.  The IRS will send you a tax refund for the unemployment compensation exclusion if you are eligible.

you are not going to get a tax credit but only a deduction  of up to 10,200 so don't be disappointed when you get back much less than that.

I know that. We will be getting back what we paid in taxes on up to $10,000 my question is not how much would we get back question is when estimate on when would we get the refund back on UE taxes.

Don't know when.  The IRS doesn't have a way to look that up.  If you have filed early before the exclusion, the IRS will recalculate your return for the new 10,200 unemployment exemption for you. There is no need for taxpayers to file an amended return unless the calculations make the taxpayer newly eligible for additional federal credits and deductions not already included on the original tax return.

See IRS article May 14, 2021

Since you said "we", I assume you have a MFJ return.  As you'll see in that IRS article above, MFJ returns are in the second group of returns with unemployment income tax to be recalculated and refunded, and can take "through the end of summer."  It also depends on the complexity of the return since they are doing the simpler ones first.  So, unfortunately, it's unpredictable "when" this summer it could be.

After search on internet it says by July/17th we should receive the over paid tax for UR from 2020 return. As of today we have not received a penny. Not even a letter indicating that we will receive any money. We over paid And should be a good amount of UE tax refunded to us. And ITS say no need to amend the return. Ok where is the refund then.
