W2 says i lived in a state i didn't

i changed jobs within my organization on 12/23.  i live in SC and for some odd reason when i was set up it said i worked in AZ.  When I imported my W2 in box 15 it had values for SC and AZ.  How does this impact my return?  Do i just merge the values and remove the AZ line?  The HR system has been updated, so its fixed go forward.  Just curious on the tax return part. Thanks!

You should fill out your tax return using the information that is on the W2, because that is the way that your company reported it to the IRS and the states.  If there were taxes taken out of the state that you did not live it, then you may need to fill out a return for that state to get the money back.  This should not affect your federal return at all.
