Unemployment from a state you don’t live in

I received unemployment from Arizona, but I lived in Alaska the whole year. Do I still need to pay state tax and file a state tax return for this?

No, as a resident of Alaska, you don't have to file an AZ tax return or pay AZ tax on your unemployment benefits.

Unemployment benefits  are only subject to federal tax and tax by the state where you live (i.e where you are a resident) - none for Alaska which doesn't have a state income tax.
