Turbotax online is changing my residency answers for California

I was a part-year resident of California for 2021 (I lived in California from August 2020, was registered to vote, filed my 2020 taxes from a California address, etc), but unexpectedly moved to another state at the beginning of May.

Turbotax interview asks three questions on the first page of the residency info for California:
1. Did you become a resident of California in 2021?
(My answer is no, because I became a resident in August 2020)

2. Did you become a nonresident of California in 2021?
(My answer is yes, because I moved to another state on May 1 and subsequently registered to vote/got a new DL, etc)

3.  Were you a nonresident of California for all of 2021?
(My answer is no, because I lived in California and was registered, etc from August 2020 until April 30, 2021, so I was a part-year resident of California).

No matter how many times I go back and put in these answers as given above, Turbotax CHANGES my answer to question 3 to say "yes", which is incorrect according to the California FTB guidelines on determining residency.    Why is Turbotax changing information I have entered, and how I fix this so that I file my return correctly?

The radio buttons you see reset each time you go through this part of TurboTax.

Hi, thanks for your response.   Unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem.

The radio buttons might be resetting, but Turbotax is also actually changing my answers to the residency questions.  When I preview the completed form (540NR Sch CA) it has "non resident" checked instead of part- year resident.  It also both lists the date I moved out of California (in 2021) AND checks the line for "I was a nonresident for all of 2021" (including listing the state to which I moved).
