TurboTax is not providing a place to enter $ amount paid for Long Term Care Insurance in NY state.

I was able to enter the amounts paid in the Federal section ok.  However, when doing the NY State section it doesn't walk me to a place to enter the $'s paid for premiums.

This information will automatically transfer from your Federal return onto your New York return.

You can find these entries on your IT-196, Line 1, transferred over from your Federal Schedule A, Line 1

If your Itemized Deductions exceed the Standard Deduction for your New York return, TurboTax will automatically apply the Itemized Deduction even if you are claiming the Standard Deduction on your Federal return.
