It seems like the program is getting the AGI from Form 502 line 16 instead of line 7 which yields the wrong number for the allowable exemptions (expressed in $ not persons) on Form 502 page 1, Exemptions, line A. The only way I can get the same number as the program is to use my Maryland AGI, but the form instructions say to use my federal AGI, it can make a difference. Am I missing something here?
