Turbotax decided I needed both a CA partnership return of income as well as a CA LLC return of income form.

I don't know how to remove the Partnership return of income from the tax year. Both are asking for how I am going to pay for the $800 tax.

I assume in this case that you are only filing the LLC.  That is fine - just don't file the partnership.  I'm not sure what caused it to generate but as long as the LLC return looks good then just file that and you should be set.
