Turbo Tax won't let me file my taxes without a Schedule UE, which I don't need

When I hit submit to file my taxes, the schedule UE tax form pops for something you were not reimbursed for. I do not need to be reimbursed for anything at all

That is probably from a K-1 entry for a partnership, form 1065. There is a question in that routine that asks if you had any unreimbursed expenses from the partnership. I suggest you review the entries and make sure you answered "No" to that question.

I had same issue.  No employer since retired.  no entries on the UE but e-file still included the form and required name and address of employer.  Nothing in return had anything about work W-2, wages, only pension. That form should not have been generated.

Try going into the Forms and delete the Schedule UE.

To delete a form in TurboTax Online follow the instructions below:

  1. Open TurboTax and your return
  2. Select Tax Tools from the menu on the left side
  3. Select Tools
  4. In the pop-up window select Delete a form
  5. Find the form, schedule or worksheet in the list and Select Delete
