Turbo tax thinks i'm a part-time resident of alabama, when in fact i moved to alabama for full-time residency in 2016

i moved from kentucky to alabama in 2016. i am now a full-time resident of alabama... not part-time like turbo tax seems to think. how can i remedy this?

You are a Part-Year Resident (not Part-Time) of Alabama in 2016 if you moved there in 2016. You'll be taxed on the income that you made for the months that you lived in AL, and also any income (if any) that came from AL for the months that you lived in KY.

So this is being figured correctly. Next year, you'll be a Resident of AL for the full year.
