Turbo tax pulled my wages from my Federal return and put it into my misc income on my state return under Misc. Compensation. Now it shows as double income. I cant delete it. What is the solution?

On your state tax return, the amount of box 1 on a W-2 is also reported as Miscellaneous Compensation in addition to the wage income.

What state tax return are you preparing?  What line on what form is the Miscellaneous Compensation being reported?  Please clarify.

Pa 40

But it also is putting my wages down below as if they were also reported on a 1099 and thus doubling my income

It will not let me go forward until I identify what type of income, with a code, is on the 1099.

I these are wages, and on a w2 not a 1099

Yes, we know that your state return is the PA-40, but on what line is this miscellaneous income being reported on your PA-40?
