TT gives me an error message when I try to file because of CA SDI

Taxes are done, Federal was error free, but the state keeps telling me to enter

CA SDI on the W-2 form.  I have done and re-done this several times, and TT still will not let me file, although I have already paid the fee.

My husband did some consulting work for a firm, earning only $1800.  Line 14 shows CA SDI as 19.80.  No matter how I reduce the amount, or eliminate it, I keep getting the same error.  This small $20. is keeping me from filling our taxes.

I can see others have had the same problem.  Has anyone found a solution?

I have had this problem in the past.  There are two boxes that open up when it has you do the correction.  There is one on the upper left that asks you to enter the amount there.  There is also a window that shows you the form it needs to go on.  Enter the amount in both places.  Sometimes the amount you put in the box on the left does not always transfer to the form itself.  by doing both, you let the program know what the amount is, and you make sure it is properly entered on the form.  Then the error usually disappears.
