Are they asking for the tax due payment? How were you suppose to pay it? Turbo Tax doesn't pay it or send it for you.
The state tax can not be deducted from the federal refund. You can only have the Turbo Tax fees deducted. You will still get the full federal refund minus any fees you had deducted. Turbo Tax just shows you a screen at the end showing the Net amount of federal and state combined. But it is just for your own info. You do still have to pay the state yourself separately. See,

Check the printout or PDF of your return; look for the state cover sheet with the Turbotax logo. If you owed tax, it will show the payment information and how/when you decided to pay. Read the state payment instructions carefully since most states cannot be paid from within the TT system and requires additional steps.
It was set up to come out of my checking account on 04-15. And we just received a bill from State Tax. We received our Federal refund using the same checking account. Can you check on this please?
Look at your state tax return to see what payment instructions were on it. Once your return is filed, TurboTax has nothing to do with it. It is up to the state to get your payment from the bank if those were the instructions on your tax return. Was there a withdrawal from your account by the state?
You might have put down the wrong bank or routing number or typed it wrong. What bank? BofA uses different numbers for deposits and payments and not the regular number that's on your checks or Account. Double check the routing number with your bank.
State said the routing number was wrong. I don't understand how since we received Federal with no problem. Now we owe another $100 late fee.Just disregard.we won't be using Turbo Tax next year!
It's not Turbo Tax fault the routing number you entered didn't work. That is user entry. The bank even told you that was the wrong number.
