State Taxes Owed payment,,,No, not normal (unless you went to the state's web payment site separately from your e-file to pay).
Also, be aware that the e-file acceptance that may show up in your TTX account (check there first)....I guess that notice of acceptance could be delayed some because of the huge crush of a gazillion people filing at the last minute....both TTX and State computers could be delayed in getting their notices out (but not so delayed in getting paid)
Thanks for the response. I filed state with federal through Turbo Tax on the 14th. I finally got an acceptance through the state website earlier today (18th). Still no update through Turbo Tax.
I don’t understand the filing history. Lots of entities about IN_AGENCY and SUCCEED_AGENCY. I couldn’t find an explanation for it in Turbo Tax help.
Yeah, my state was "accepted" (by email) too and got my state refund weeks ago.
My desktop "File" menu,
....then the "Electronic Filing" drop down has multiple selections.
Two of which are:
1) "Check Electronic Filing Status" :and clicking that which shows Federal and State being Accepted.
then
2) "Show Electronic Filing Status History" : and clicking that shows a whole bunch of gibberish, including "Filing changed state to SUCCEEDED_AGENCY" too. Which is meaningless to us.
