State of CT prefilled in from fed return form schedule 1 line 52. Unable to see Schedule 1 on Federal return?

BTW federal return standard deductions, income adjusted because of Social security

You can preview your federal return by using the instructions below.   When you view Form 1040, Schedules 1, 2, and 3 will be below Form 1040.  But there is no Line 52 on Schedule 1 (did you mean 22?).   Please take these steps to preview your 1040 in TurboTax Online:

1. Login to TurboTax Online (https://turbotax.intuit.com/)

2. Click on "Pick up where I left off"

3. Select "Tax Tools" from the menu on the left side of the screen

4. Next select "Tools" from the drop-down menu on the left side of the screen

5. Then click "View Tax Summary" from the pop-up menu

6. Lastly, click on "Preview My 1040" from the menu on the left side of the screen.

Nope the schedule one is not listed under the 1040 when I view forms, come on that would be easy.  Since my only adjustment was social security it is listed as that "Social Sec" no schedule 1.

I do see were the federal form has only 22 lines, when going to IRS website

Look at line 4 on CT 1040 Non resident  form it states the following:

Subtractions from federal adjusted gross income from Schedule 1, Line 52

This is so misleading (come to find out after spending hours on this) it is part of the CT non resident form page 3 which starts off with your federal gross wages.

It would have been nice to be able to live chat or call turbo tax.  I AM NOT INTERESTED IN BADGES!  This was so frustrating!  I have been buying turbo tax for over 16 years. I will rethink purchasing again next year.  FREE, FREE, FREE needs better customer support without additional fees.
