Signed up for free filing...don't want to do state return

I registered for the free efiling.  I already submitted my state return directly through the state's website.  I can't get TurboTax to stop wanting to efile my state return.  All i want to do i e-file my federal return.

HELP.. How do i do this without resubmitting my state return.

You can delete the state return, then go back & just file your Federal return.

Ok, then when you go to e-file section, there should be an option to file Federal return only.   When you get to the Let's get ready to e-file screen, for your state select the File by mail button and click the I'm not ready to file radio button below your state and click save. Then you should be able to e-file just your Federal return.

That doesn't work because I already "registered" the free version.
