Sign the copy of the federal when filing the state?

Preparing an amended state return which requires mailing, but the original state, original federal, and amended federal returns were all e-filed.  The amended state mailing will include copies of the federal and amended federal returns, do they need signed and dated too? dating them according to when they were actually filed?

You would only need to sign your amended state return. 

 

The other forms may be required for processing and supporting the changes on your amended state return and are used as support.  You do not need to sign those or indicate any date.  You would only do that on your actual amended state return.
