Received W-2 for group term life insurance from previous employer in another State (MD). Am a permanent resident of DE. Turbo tax is saying I have to also file in MD?

W-2 is from a MD business where I retired. Am a permannet resident of DE now. Received no other wages from MD

Unless the W-2 reported MD earnings and tax withheld (Boxes 15-17), you don't have to file a MD tax return.

The value of your group term life insurance from previous employer is a benefit, not earned income.
