Received a Notice of Return Changes in Georgia as part time GA resident - filed in GA, NC, VA

Lived 1st half of 2019 in VA, 2nd half in GA. Received a notice of return changes as GA increased my AGI (single line on form) without explanation of why or where TT failed to calculate it correctly based on Federal AGI.  I have logged into the GA tax website without answers.  Do I have to pay the amount owed as calculated by GA? The only thing I could submit to the state for documentation would be my TT return calculations which they presumably already have.

if you have a notice it should have a phone number.  call it.     it's possible the Feds change your agi which change the Ga return.

we can't see your return, data or notice.

If no one answers the phone in Georgia (if you do what Hackitoff suggests), then be sure to write them a letter and mail it to the address given in the Notice.

Taxing agencies are much happier when you reply in a timely manner, even if it's not with money. The phone call may or may not documented in their system.

Besides, it will give them a chance to explain just why they made this change - although it could be as simple as what Hackitoff said.

I called the number and wasn't provided any helpful information.  I will submit my TT calculations for Fed and GA to support how I arrived at my GA AGI.  My federal AGI was not changed by GA.
