Received 601b rev, looks like Turbotax used wrong wage to file state tax.

I recently received a bill of $482.74 including fines and fees for the 2018 NJ  tax adjustment. Apparently TT didn't file it correctly. I'm not able to find the real person to talk to, hope someone from here can help.

I tried many times and the bot always told me that they found something from the community. I couldn't find the option to talk to someone except paying $29.  Could you be more specific on the steps to get hold of a real person?

You want to fill out this information for an accuracy guarantee claim, How to submit documentation for accuracy guarantee claims. You will want to go ahead and pay the bill so fees do not continue to accrue. If the letter is asking if you agree, it may be an audit type of letter.

TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support.  Follow these steps:

  1.  Click on this link,
  2. then click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support".  
  3. Answer the question regarding what tax year is your letter.  
  4. Then it will ask you what the letter concerns.
  5. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.
