Re: check this entry. asks for state ID in which interest was earned? Tax exempt interest was earned in many states. Can't find astate ID for Charles Schwab? Help

The quick fix for this issue is to enter "XX" as the state ID in SmartCheck screen. "XX" stands for "More Than One State" in this screen. Your drop-down may offer the "More than One state" option (see below).
